About Me

My name is Margoth Barrera, and I’m a dynamic bilingual voice actor based in Los Angeles. I was born in the beautiful Sonoran desert in Northern Mexico but have lived most of my life in the United States.

 

As a proud graduate from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and TV Producing, my journey in the entertainment industry has been both rich and varied. Although initially focused in film and television production, I ventured into my lifelong passion for voice acting and singing, after one of my best friends and I decided to embark on “Our Year Of Yes” — in which we would say yes to more adventures, opportunities, dreams, and more of what made us happy! It was this fun experience that led me to pivot towards this exciting artistic field. It is through combining my career and my passion that I am able to better understand the nuances of storytelling and pacing, ensuring your script is brought to life in a way that fits the exact tone and message you're aiming for.

My experience spans a wide array of voice-over work, including commercials, podcasts, films, narration and more. I excel at delivering everything from warm and conversational tones to sassy, humorous, or villainous voices, always with a focus on bringing authenticity and energy to each script. My vocal range allows me to adapt to different characters and styles, ensuring that I can meet the specific needs of any project.

 

Outside of the recording booth, I lead a vibrant life with my husband and our fur-baby, Zoë. I love spending time with family, dining out with friends, leading a book club, and exploring new destinations.
